This is most likely an X server issue. As I mentioned in bug #90988 and #101716, I am having trouble with the SATA drives on this motherboard. As a result, for the time being, I have switched to a PATA drive. After this switch, the graphic installer worked. Once the SATA problems are fixed, I will see if I still have problems with the graphical installar on this motherboard with SATA drives in a RAID Level 1 configuration. In order to investigate, I require your X server config file and X server log file from a failed X server startup attempt. Please attach both to the report using bugzilla's file attachment feature below, as individual uncompressed files. Also attach your /var/log/messages TIA Since this bugzilla report was filed, there have been several major updates to the X Window System, which may resolve this issue. Users who have experienced this problem are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Fedora Core, which can be obtained from: If this issue turns out to still be reproduceable in the latest version of Fedora Core, please file a bug report in the X.Org bugzilla located at http://bugs.freedesktop.org in the "xorg" component. Once you've filed your bug report to X.Org, if you paste the new bug URL here, Red Hat will continue to track the issue in the centralized X.Org bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates. |
