Description of problem:

Intermittently if one's language preference is set in UGC to be English, going to an unspecified amount of RHN pages will result in each of the pages rendering Japanese. [see attached screenshot]

I cannot find a pattern in when the Japanese language appears or on which exact pages, so this will be certainly hard to identify the problem, then reproduce it, fix it and test the fix.

How reproducible:
Intermittently in production, I could only reproduce the problem once.

Steps to Reproduce:
(Become user 'johnnewbigin'
1. Go to http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/rhel-server-6-errata.html 


Actual results:
Some times the page will render like the attached screenshot labelled [japanese]

Expected results:
ALL times the page should render in English

Additional info:

This was reported by Karen Trudgian within INC0077533 and another INC where I could not reproduce the problem the first time.

As you may already be aware, Red Hat is transitioning from the Red Hat Network (RHN) hosted interface to the Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) interface in July 2017. Red Hat has invested in and seen success from RHN for many years, and used that experience to build more robust technologies like RHSM.
