Scanner not claimed by Fedora

Description of problem:
Scanner is left unclaimed in Fedora

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Umax Astra 2400S SCSI flatbed scanner

How reproducible:
Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot Fedora with scanner turned on.
2. Open Hardware Lister.
3. See scanner not claimed.

Actual results:
Scanner not usable.

Expected results:
Scanner should be recognized and usable.

Support for scanners needs to be included in Fedora.  This is a serious and blocking problem that someone needs to address.

This package isn't in Fedora anymore and isn't related to scanning anyway. Closing.
