Description Marian Csontos 2013-10-24 08:58:53 UTC
Description of problem:
The pools are not configurable.
When there is an existing pool on the disk, anaconda should be able to use that to create thin-LVs.

Seems I can reuse already existing thin-LVs on that pool by reformatting them.

Otherwise there may not be enough space to complete installation though there is enough space in the pool.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
20.25.1-1

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. try installing onto system with existing thin-pool over all disks which has enough free space to allocate root FS.

Actual results:
Not enough space to install system.

Expected results:
Anaconda should be able to reuse the pool, otherwise one would have to use separate pool for each installation which is completely missing the point of using thin-provisioning.

There is no workaround in UI (pools are not shrinkable) making pools unusable for "regular user" without knowledge of command line.
