Description David Lehman 2013-10-25 18:00:46 UTC
Description of problem:
If you go through and create a layout in the custom spoke and then revisit storage and try to do autopart with reclaim it doesn't ever set the autopart flag.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-20.25.1-1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select one of two full disks, go to custom, clear it, autopart, save it
2. revisit storage, select both disks, choose to reclaim, delete all
3. click "Reclaim"

Actual results:
disks are reinitialized but autopart is not run

Expected results:
disks initialized and autopart run

Additional info:
Nothing is setting self.autopart to True in the storage spoke in this case

Comment 1 Mike Ruckman 2013-10-28 17:06:35 UTC
Discussed in 2013-10-28 Blocker Review meeting [1]. It was rejected as a blocker for Beta, but accepted as a Freeze Exception. It was also voted as a Final Blocker. While this feels like too much of a corner case to block beta, it does violate the final release criterion "The installer must be able to create and install to any workable partition layout using any file system and/or container format combination offered in a default installer configuration." [2] A tested fix would be considered past freeze.
