Description Michael Monreal 2013-10-26 17:49:45 UTC
Description of problem:
The ownCloud Client creates a huge number of desktop notifications and the preference setting to turn it of does not work in the 1.4.1 release.

However I just noticed that 1.4.2 is out [1] and this but seems to be fixed. Would be nice to have this in Fedora soon.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.4.1

Comment 7 Michael Monreal 2013-11-03 19:13:22 UTC
I rally do not know what is going on... I initially tested the update on F19 at my parent's place and it worked fine. I then installed it on my F20 system, still fine. This weekend however, over at my parent's place, it was crashing all the time. Back at home now and it still works great on F20.

I filed a bug upstream, backtraces attached in case you want to see: https://github.com/owncloud/mirall/issues/1134

Comment 8 Joseph Marrero 2013-11-03 21:24:33 UTC
yeah, seems other users have been having the same problem with this a previous versions. Thanks for the report upstream I hope they pick it up soon.
