The problem still exists in Fedora-Live-Workstation-x86_64-21_Beta-1.iso. See also https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1151429 and https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1158374 In the latter, it even makes it impossible to unlock the lock screen. ibus-m17n-1.3.4-17.fc21 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 21. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/ibus-m17n-1.3.4-17.fc21 Package ibus-m17n-1.3.4-17.fc21: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing ibus-m17n-1.3.4-17.fc21' as soon as you are able to. Created attachment 816871 [details] ibus-m17n-latn-post-enabled-in-password-entry-field-of-lockscreen.png Fedora 20 Beta TC6. See screen shot. Apparently, ibus-m17n does not check for IBUS_INPUT_PURPOSE_PASSWORD yet, therefore it is enabled in the password field. ibus-anthy, ibus-libpinyin, and ibus-typing-booster do not show this problem (they already check input purpose).
