Did you start glusterfsd by hand? I used systemctl to start gluster; other than that, I don't specifically recall doing anything to trigger the AVC. Did you start a different service like rpcd by hand. Basically this shows the glusterd trying to kill a user process started by you outside of the init system. |
Description of problem: SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/glusterfsd from using the 'sigkill' accesses on a process. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that glusterfsd should be allowed sigkill access on processes labeled unconfined_t by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep glusterfs /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:glusterd_t:s0 Target Context unconfined_u:system_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Objects [ process ] Source glusterfs Source Path /usr/sbin/glusterfsd Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages glusterfs-3.4.1-3.fc20.x86_64 Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.12.1-90.fc20.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 3.11.6-301.fc20.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Oct 21 21:54:19 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen 2013-11-06 08:57:55 MST Last Seen 2013-11-06 08:57:55 MST Local ID be91be2e-e0aa-408a-aabd-48aeb787ec53 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1383753475.885:9428): avc: denied { sigkill } for pid=14603 comm="glusterfs" scontext=system_u:system_r:glusterd_t:s0 tcontext=unconfined_u:system_r:unconfined_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tclass=process type=SYSCALL msg=audit(1383753475.885:9428): arch=x86_64 syscall=kill success=no exit=EACCES a0=5030 a1=9 a2=0 a3=5030 items=0 ppid=14597 pid=14603 auid=4294967295 uid=0 gid=0 euid=0 suid=0 fsuid=0 egid=0 sgid=0 fsgid=0 ses=4294967295 tty=(none) comm=glusterfs exe=/usr/sbin/glusterfsd subj=system_u:system_r:glusterd_t:s0 key=(null) Hash: glusterfs,glusterd_t,unconfined_t,process,sigkill Additional info: reporter: libreport-2.1.9 hashmarkername: setroubleshoot kernel: 3.11.6-301.fc20.x86_64 type: libreport
