Bug 467742 made it possible to choose between adding a public and private comment when updating several bugs at once.

For a project like Beaker (which covers both the upstream project itself and Red Hat internal installations of that project), it would be convenient to be able to add a bulk private addendum to a bulk public comment rather than having to choose between them.

(Marking as low severity, since the workaround is easy enough: do two bulk changes, one with the public comment and then a second with the private comment. It's just clumsy)

I tend to agree. This seems like a significant code change to carry around in our customizations for relatively little productivity gain.

Of course, if you can convince upstream to do it, we'll happily take it.
