Steps to Reproduce:
1. inkscape drawing.svg &
2. inkscape -C -A drawing.pdf drawing.svg

Actual results:
pdf is not produced

Expected results:
pdf is produced, even if the document is open elsewhere

Can you reproduce this in 0.48.5?
