I have an environment where hosts are subscribed to both (this environment was previously 3.2): * rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms * rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms-beta These systems happily updated on RHEV 3.3 and RHEL 6.5 GA, relevant package versions are now: * libvirt-0.10.2-29.el6.1.x86_64 from rhel-6-server-rpms * libvirt-lock-sanlock-0.10.2-29.el6.1.x86_64 from rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms On a system with only the rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms-beta repository (installing RHEV 3.3-Beta for the first time) we get: # yum install rhevm-setup-plugin-allinone ==> Error: Package: libvirt-lock-sanlock-0.10.2-29.el6.x86_64 (rhel-x86_64-rhev-mgmt-agent-6-beta) Requires: libvirt = 0.10.2-29.el6 Installing: libvirt-0.10.2-29.el6.1.x86_64 (rhel-x86_64-server-6) libvirt = 0.10.2-29.el6.1 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest Workaround is to add the rhel-6-server-rhev-mgmt-agent-rpms repository. The documentation should indicate that both beta and GA channels (for RHEVM too) are required to install the beta properly. Is that not the case? Beta content is layered over GA content. I pushed libvirt-lock-sanlock-0.10.2-29.el6.1 into the beta channel anyway but this issue will come back if RHEL ships another libvirt update. Setting NEEDINFO to Jodi on that one but to my knowledge it has not ever been the case. This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. I'd like to close this as not a bug. It's not directly related to RHEL-6. And seems like your issue is what Jay is describing in Comment#3 and Comment#4 Please reopen this bug if you feel like I was wrong. Lubos The needinfo request[s] on this closed bug have been removed as they have been unresolved for 1000 days |
