Description of problem: While recording or listening to the Microphone of the Logitech UltraVision USB Device 0x46d:0x8c9, the audio is mixed with a constant noise at -35db, and clicks with 0db every 3.5 seconds.

Plug this webcamera in, record audio with any application.


Actual results: Noise, clicks and some microphone sound.


Expected results: Microphone sound only.


Additional info:

The microphone was working fine, with a crystal clear sound in older fedora versions. Can not recall when this bug appeard, first I noticed with skype, but now with advanced speech to text usage the microphone got very important.

I was able to reproduce this bug on a second computer, with Fedora 19 LXDE.

Okay, I tested it on a Mac, and had similar results. I can not make sure that this is not a hardware issue of this particular piece.
