Description Marek Mahut 2013-11-25 13:00:24 UTC
Description of problem:

I have more than half of the gears missing their PAM limit file on a node in production.

# ls -1 /etc/security/limits.d | wc -l
427
# ops-list-gears |wc -l
1800
#

I'd like to investigate the root cause of this issue but also be advised how to re-created these in a sane way.

Comment 1 Meng Bo 2013-11-26 03:23:57 UTC
Run oo-pam-enable on node, should be able to recreate the missing pam files.

Thank you, this resolved it. Do you want the logs to have a look at possible root cause of this incident?
