Description Pavel Zhukov 2013-11-26 16:02:54 UTC
Hi Bjorn,
GPS 6 is coming It'd be great to have GTKAda > 3.4.0 in Fedora. Do you work on it? 3.4.2 is available from the adacore site

I haven't yet gotten around to packaging GTKada 3. I suppose it's time to prioritize it.

You can help if you want and have time. There are some questions that we need to find answers to:

· Can we replace the current GTKada with the latest version, or do we need parallel-installable GTKada 2 and GTKada 3 packages similar to the gtk2 and gtk3 packages?

· Most of the bindings are supposedly auto-generated now. To comply with Fedora's policy of building everything from source we should run the code generation during the build. Can we get that to work, or will we have to use the pre-generated code?

· Which patches can be dropped, and which ones need to be ported to GTKada 3?
