Description Malith 2013-11-27 08:47:18 UTC
Description of problem: I'm trying to connect to internet with USB modem stick (Model ZTE M190) and when I connect to the USB port, it's not detected in Mobile Broadband section in Network Manager. Currently using F17 and it's detecting the dongle.

Version-Release : F20-alpha

How reproducible: Put the USB stick onto the computer

Actual results: It's not detected as the Mobile Broadband device, even not listed in detected devices in USB.

Expected results: Could be appeared in Mobile Broadband section in Network Manager (As experience like F17)

Hi,

can you try:
systemctl enable ModemManager.service

Just to be sure (I don't know if NetworkManager reads this change right away)
reboot the box and try it again.

If it still does not work, upload /var/log/messages to this bz

thanks,
Michele

Likely a duplicate of 1025992 where another ZTE modem (AC8700) is mentioned
