Description Joachim Backes 2013-11-28 09:31:28 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm running nautilus in gnome3 desktop as file manager (gnome-tweak-tool-> Desktop->Icons on desktop).

Problem: after logging in, the disktop icons are all shifted a little bit in direction to the top of screen, so they are partially hidden by the gnome3 bar if their last stored position was near the top of screen, but below the gnome3 top bar.

They are moved back to the right (means: stored) position if starting some nautilus action, for example Right-mouse-key->open terminal.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nautilus-3.10.1-2.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Log in to gnome3 desktop
2.
3.

Actual results:
wrong position of the desktop icons, differing from the last stored position

Expected results:
correct positioning after login

Comment 3 Joachim Backes 2015-01-27 17:09:31 UTC
Seems to be solved with nautilus-3.14.2-1.fc21.x86_64 resp. gnome-shell-3.14.3-1.fc21.x86_64
