Description of problem:
Inconsistent configuration feedback for "Party Mode" option

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhythmbox-2.99.1-1.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Rhythmbox
2. Select: Super Menu - View - Party Mode
3. Select: Cogwheel menu - View - Party Mode
4. Look at: Super Menu - View

Actual results:
After step 3: Rhythmbox is fullscreen and "Party Mode" in "Cogwheel menu" is _not_ checked.
After step 4: Rhythmbox is in standard window and "Party Mode" in "Super Menu" _is_ ON.

Expected results:
Both options should reflect actual mode and be consistent.

Additional info:
Other options from "View" submenu are not affected.

Is this still a problem with the 3.3.1 package that's soon going to be in RHEL 7.3?

I have a patch to fix the inconsistent state, but it seems to trigger a problem in the app menu caused by either GLib or gnome-shell.

I can confirm that the patch in rhythmbox-3.3.1-3.el7 works, but with the app menu problem - all menu items are disabled. I had to switch to another application and back, or minimize/maximize rhythmbox to get them enabled again.

Please file a bug against gnome-shell about this. It's a bug in either gnome-shell or gtk+, but it needs root-causing.

The workaround for app menu problem is to min and max the app again.
