Is this still a problem with the 3.3.1 package that's soon going to be in RHEL 7.3? Still a problem with 3.3.1, will investigate. Yes, still a problem. I have a patch to fix the inconsistent state, but it seems to trigger a problem in the app menu caused by either GLib or gnome-shell. Built in rhythmbox-3.3.1-3.el7 I can confirm that the patch in rhythmbox-3.3.1-3.el7 works, but with the app menu problem - all menu items are disabled. I had to switch to another application and back, or minimize/maximize rhythmbox to get them enabled again. (In reply to Jiri Prajzner from comment #13) > I can confirm that the patch in rhythmbox-3.3.1-3.el7 works, but with the > app menu problem - all menu items are disabled. It's a bug in either gnome-shell or gtk+, but it needs root-causing. The workaround for app menu problem is to min and max the app again. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
