This appears to be working in F20, though I don't know if anything has actually changed for this case. To use an unformatted partition, you first need to check the "reformat" box and then select a filesystem type, and after that you can set a mount point. The reason for this is that when we see a partition without a recognizable filesystem, we assume that there may be data but that we don't know what it is, which is why the filesystem type is initially set to "unknown" |
