Description bhesha 2013-12-04 05:57:16 UTC
Description of problem:
During Redhat HWcert test, we found Fv_Storage test failed with the testing progress time out: destroying the guest

We use below configuration
Test machine: Intel QM87 chipset+intel CPU i7-4800MQ
OS: RHEL server v2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64 GNOME2.28.2
Test suite: v7-1.6.4-22.el6, v7-server-1.6.4-22.el6, dt-15.14-2.EL6, stress-0.18.8-1.3.EL6, lmbench-3.0a7-6a.EL6

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install RHEL server v2.6.32-431.el6.x86_64 GNOME2.28.2 to test machine
2. Install v7 Test suite
3. Run fv_storage test as below:
v7 run --test=fv_storgae --server=192.168.0.100

Actual results:
After run about 1 hours, the test is terminated and reports testing progress time out: destroying the guest and get fail result

Expected results:
Pass

Additional info:
We have tried to reinstall the OS and rerun same test, but get the same result.

Please re-run the test with --debug set to "low" and attach /var/hwcert/results.xml

Thanks!

Sorry, please check above result again. "Created attachment 849103 [details]"

Ps. After further check, we found this issue is only reproduced on Hard Disk Drive (HDD), but not reproduced on Solid State Disk (SSD)

Closing as hwcert-client is obsolete.
Please use redhat-certification-hardware instead.
