The 'New virtual machine' and 'Edit virtual machine' settings have been updated since 3.2, and the order of these settings in the settings explained sections of the Administration Guide and Power User Portal Guide must both be updated.

This will involve looking at each of the topics that outline these settings and matching them with the new designs, changing the order of anything that is out of place and creating an explanation of any new settings.

As an example, the 'data center' and 'host cluter' options previously available in the General tab are now no longer there and must be edited.

1. Virtual Machine General Settings Explained [ 10394-565950 ]

Removed the Data Center, Quota, Total Virtual CPUs, Cores Per Virtual Socket, Virtual Sockets, and Operating System rows from the table and added a short paragraph to the end of the topic outlining assignment of virtual network interface cards.

2. Virtual Machine Console Settings Explained [ 10395-565957 ]

Changed 'Enable Smartcard' to 'Smartcard Enabled' as per the GUI.

3. Virtual Machine Host Settings Explained [ 10396-566028 ]

Removed the Max free Memory for scheduling new VMs, changed 'Run On' to 'Start Running On' as per the GUI, removed CPU Pinning topology and collapsed the description of Use Host CPU into the Migration Options row.

4. Virtual Machine Resource Allocation Settings Explained [ 10398-567187 ]

Added the CPU Allocation row and removed the Alias, Allocation Policy, Target, and Quota rows as per the GUI.

5. Virtual Machine Boot Options Settings Explained [ 10400-567189 ]

Removed the Boot Options and Linux Boot Options rows.
