I can help maintain python-gevent if needed, we are using it extensively (including on RHEL6) and so I'm keen to see it well maintained.

Dan - probably needed - I would add yourself to the package.  I'm building 1.0 now for rawhide and EPEL7.  I'll let others decide if older releases should be updated.

Okay, thanks Orion. I requested access in pkgdb.

And no, I don't think we can push gevent 1.0 to older releases (unless it's as a separate compat package python-gevent10 or something like that) because there were a lot of substantial API changes in 1.0.

Okay, built for rawhide and EPEL7.  Hopefully the bump to 1.0 won't cause too many issues.
