Description of problem:
I did the following on command line:
dconf write /org/mate/desktop/interface/can-change-accels true
I then tried to assign F6 to "Open in terminal" under the File menu of Caja. Caja crashed.

I can't reproduce the issue in f19/f20. I followed your steps and it works well without caja crashing.
Does it ocours everytime?
