Description of problem:
Basically, the 'Restore System Configuration' button doesn't seem to do anything.
Session: gnome-classic with gnome-shell-3.8.4-17.el7.x86_64 and gnome-menus-3.8.1-2.el7.x86_64

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
alacarte-3.7.90-1.el7 (as well as alacarte-3.10.0-1.fc20.noarch under el7)
