Probably also: EConnMan should not be in the default shelf until it is packaged and shipped as a required package for enlightenment in Fedora. I had to find this random blog post from 2010 to figure out how to see the NM applet: http://hal9000dev.blogspot.com/2010/11/show-system-tray-in-enlightenment-17.html I concur. With the current default configuration the wireless network management appears to be broken, as one can neither access to the default wifi module (NetworkManager) nor use the apparent wifi module (EConnMan) — at least without specific knowledge or lots of struggling. (Also, thanks for the link in comment #2.) This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 22 development cycle. Changing version to '22'. More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Program_Management/HouseKeeping/Fedora22 This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component. If you were talking about Xembed systray icons (e.g. NetworkManager and IBus), the support is deliberately removed in E20. See https://twitter.com/_enlightenment_/status/538000507315314688 Alternatively, you can use stalonetray, tint2 that shows xembed systray icons. On the side note, I have tried them, I have yet found the methods to put them in the position I want (Enlightenment panel on the bottom left, systray on the bottom right.) |
