Description perosredo 2013-12-12 04:20:31 UTC
Description of problem:
Clicking the 'beta' link from the highly visible main Download page (http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora) leads you to months-old downloads.

Actual results:
You end up downloading a months old image of daily-updated software that doesn't work.

Expected results:
Downloading the latest release.

Additional info:
The link should be scrapped at this point - to save countless downloaders a whole bunch of time over the next week - and/or made in such a way that it always points to latest release for v21 (e.g., linking the directory).

Comment 1 Peter Borsa 2013-12-12 06:55:38 UTC
I think it's right. The latest stable release is Fedora 19, unstable release is Fedora 20 Beta that will be the latest stable soon. See Fedora 20 release schedule.

Comment 2 Robert Mayr 2013-12-12 07:06:54 UTC
The images linked on our get-prerelease page are pointing already to the latest image signed off as Beta Release. These images work and can also be updated after the installation by pulling in the latest packages.
We will never point to rawhide images (v21) in our get-prerelease page, and note that this page will not be available once GA will be released.

Websites team also has it's own track for reporting issues:

Thank you.
