Description RHOS Integration 2013-12-12 16:06:22 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/trusted-geo-tags.

Description:

For security and/or tax purposes cloud users may want to restrict where their virtual machines and data resides. OpenStack filters for availability zones and aggregates enble one to partition the cloud computing resources, and geo could be such a partition "geo: usa", or "geo:china". However using geo-tags as measured entities in the Trusted Compute Pool ties the label to a specific computing resource, making it ideal for audit purposes in addition to job/data placement.
