Description:

This blueprint is proposed to achieve automatic base image update when the original image managed by Glance is updated. The demand comes from system upgrade or security update to the image, and this image has already been downloaded to many hosts. In this case an automatic update routine is needed to let each host to update the images. Since each new uploaded image has an unique UUID, currently the image pair (B is the update of A) is assigned manually. Moreover, the use reserves the right to update the image or not.
