Description:

Currently, when we generate a snapshot using a rbd backend, firstly we should generate the image to a file system, then upload it to glance service, this costs a lot of time during the data transmission. 

In ceph, we can flatten our snapshot and make it independency with each other, and that will reduce lots of on data transmission.
