Description RHOS Integration 2013-12-12 20:36:52 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/inline-table-editing.

Description:

To make editing more user-friendly, we can use AJAX to allow editing of object properties directly in the table.

Specification URL (additional information):

None

Comment 2 Stephen Gordon 2014-01-23 20:48:18 UTC
Moving to POST based on upstream status (Implemented).

Comment 4 Matthias Runge 2014-05-27 11:17:57 UTC
it looks like the feature was removed by accident. Techniques are still there and there is a blueprint to spread provide it on all pages:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/inline-editing-implementation-to-all-tables

Moving back to assigned

Comment 5 Matthias Runge 2014-05-27 11:29:33 UTC

Comment 6 Matthias Runge 2014-05-28 06:13:22 UTC
#c4 and #c5 were my mistakes. This feature is implemented.

How to test:
Navigate to the Identity tab and view projects. When moving the mouse to fields. e.g. to project names, the strings are directly editable by clicking on the pen icon, which shows up while hovering over the text.
