Description:

We would like store Ceilometer collected data in vertica, which is an online analytics processing database. Vertica is for the most part SQL Compliant. However, there may be a few sqlalchemy tweaks needed to support it.

I am currently researching how SQLAlchemy plugs in to vertica. Once I know more, I will fill out the details of the BP a bit more.
