Description:

DreamHost is willing to release most of the DUDE (our ceilometer client program) as open source. We will need to modify it to make it more generic (probably by making it use a plugin for communicating with the billing system), but a lot of the logic should be reusable at least as an example program for someone else making their own bridge between ceilometer and a billing system.
