This may depend on the motherboard/BIOS. I can install from a Sony DRX-500ULX drive using a boot floppy on all machines. I can do it without a floppy on my IBM Thinkpad T40. I can't on my Asus A7V600. I was intermittently able to on my Giga-Byte 7N400Pro (which I sent back because of this instability). --jh-- Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
