Marked as RFE, as we never installed qxl on server platforms. Differed to 3.3.z as it's not a real release blocker. According to our documentation, http://www.redhat.com/resourcelibrary/articles/enterprise-linux-virtualization-support, we do install for server platforms. In the https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.3-Beta/html-single/Administration_Guide/index.html, 17.7.3. Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Guest Drivers and Guest Agents, it specifically states, that we support QXL for server and desktop. This table spells it out a little better for supported guests. https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.3-Beta/html-single/Administration_Guide/index.html#Supported_virtual_machines added acks that were cleared accidently :-) Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below. If the solution does not work for you, open a new bug report. http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2014-0075.html |
