Description Fred J. Tydeman 2013-12-16 21:04:55 UTC
Description of problem:
I have used liveusb-creator on both 32-bit and 64-bit FC 18 to write
Fedora-Live-LXDE-i686-20-Beta-5.iso to a 4 gig USB memory stick. It appears
to work OK. But, when I boot that USB stick, all I get on the screen is: GRUB

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
FC 20 Beta

How reproducible:
Several ways. I have tried formatting the USB memory stick as FAT-32 and ext4.
I have run liveusb-creator on both 64-bit and 32-bit Linux systems. I have done
this action before many times without this problem.

Comment 1 Fred J. Tydeman 2013-12-20 01:41:31 UTC
Trying
  liveusb-creator --safe --reset-mbr
created a USB memory stick that booted the Live system.
So, my problem has been fixed.

Yeah, it looks like your master boot record just needed to be reset. I don't think the --safe option made a difference.
