Description Michel Alexandre Salim 2013-12-17 07:18:35 UTC
Description of problem:
On a fresh install of RHEL 7 beta (x86_64), I had to immediately use rescue mode as sudo was not set up properly (bug report forthcoming). It turns out that the version of Anaconda in the beta is still affected by the known Fedora bug #901917 - in which Anaconda does not properly detect and unlock LUKS partitions

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-19.31.36-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install EL 7 beta, choosing to encrypt the target hard disk
2. Boot the install media in rescue mode
3. Try and rescue the installation

Actual results:
Anaconda to find any Linux installation

Expected results:
Linux installation found, Anaconda prompts user to enter passphrase and then proceed as normal

Additional info:
Fixed in anaconda-20.21-1, please backport or upgrade the installer in RHEL 7
