Description of problem:
The issue happens after a fresh installation of Fedora 20. Might be hardware dependent, I have no chance yet to check. When any window (including menus, help hints and so on) in XFCE4 disappears or is moved, what is behind (another window, background) is not re-drawn. See attachment.

All users are affected (including root). External monitor is also affected. When accessing with TeamViewer, the issue is also visible.

Toshiba Satellite P70-A
NVIDIA GeForce GT 745M

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 20 Desktop
2. Install XFCE4
3. Start XFCE4 session
4. Try using menu or open a window and move 

Actual results:
As seen in the attached screenshot


Expected results:
Properly re-drawn/refreshed from buffers

This seems like a intel video driver issue to me. ;( 
Only thing I can think of to try: 

If you go to: 

settings -> window manager tweaks -> compositor 

and enable display compositing, does it get any better, worse or stay the same?

The issue was perhaps been caused by my mistake, however one could expect anything by that. Thanks to Kevin's advise I realised the installation of XFCE was not complete, e.g. xfwm was missing.

This message is a reminder that Fedora 20 is nearing its end of life.
Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining
and issuing updates for Fedora 20. It is Fedora's policy to close all
bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time
this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora  'version'
of '20'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' 
to a later Fedora version.

lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a 
more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes 
bugs or makes them obsolete.
