Hi,

We should attempt not to be blocked by standard security features as much as possible.

Currently pop up blocker prevents console to be opened.

Usually if user actively clicks on a link then a popup is allowed, I guess we are doing something else.

didn't we have an alternative proposal for opening new tab for .vv or web clients?

Yes, there has been a patch merged that opens requests in iframes which aren't affected by browser pop-up blocker.
