And "vgaswitcheroo" doesn't works too on this build of kernel. # cd /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/ # cat switch And nothing happens lot of time, infinitely reading "switch". When I try write something to switch — same behaviour. And I can't do keyboard interrupt, I see ^C and nothing else happens. $ uname -a Linux fedoranb 3.12.5-200.fc19.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Dec 17 22:21:14 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Please test 3.12.6 and let us know if it works for the shutdown issue. There was a pci bus master fix that went into that which resolved shutdown/reboot issues for a number of machines. I tested kernel-3.12.6-200.fc19.x86_64 and I still have this bug. To be clear, which bug are you referring towhen you say 3.12.6 still has it? The reboot/shutdown bug, or the vgaswitcheroo issue? (This is why we prefer one bug per issue.) Reboot/shutdown and vgaswitcheroo both. *********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 19 kernel bugs. Fedora 19 has now been rebased to 3.13.5-100.fc19. Please test this kernel update and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel. If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those. *********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** This bug is being closed with INSUFFICIENT_DATA as there has not been a response in 4 weeks. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reopen and attach the relevant data from the latest kernel you are running and any data that might have been requested previously. |
