Description of problem:
1. gnome terminal > su - > export EDITOR=gedit  > virsh edit MyVM
2. mouse over top-left corner to access "Activities"
3. gnome dies/ crashes - only out is killing gdm-binary from tty2

Dead gnome-shell - mouse moves, but nothing else

Expected results:
Access Access - gnome works

Additional info:
abrt tells me that this has been reported at Bug 810040
But, as that was fixed a little under a year ago and I have no fprintd running on this machine, that can't be so
