Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2014-03-22 06:20:35 UTC
This request was not resolved in time for the current release.
Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in
the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2015-05-01 04:06:10 UTC
I'm not sure that this is supposed to work without parentheses.

Typing (E^-1)^-1 works as expected.

Comment 5 Vitezslav Humpa 2015-05-07 10:40:02 UTC
Appears okay within the 3.14 code-base. Most importantly the E^−1^−1^ does not bring crash anymore, 0,124924925 instead. With parenthesis, we get the intended value of E.

Comment 7 Martin Simon 2015-09-02 09:50:31 UTC
I've re-tested this bug in gnome-calculator-3.14.1-2.el7.x86_64. According to comment 4, comment 5 and my results, I assume the bug is fixed. No crash any more, correct results instead.
