This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. I'm not sure that this is supposed to work without parentheses. Typing (E^-1)^-1 works as expected. Appears okay within the 3.14 code-base. Most importantly the E^−1^−1^ does not bring crash anymore, 0,124924925 instead. With parenthesis, we get the intended value of E. I've re-tested this bug in gnome-calculator-3.14.1-2.el7.x86_64. According to comment 4, comment 5 and my results, I assume the bug is fixed. No crash any more, correct results instead. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
