Please test this scratch build when it completes and let us know how it works: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6366359 Thanks, Josh. The device is recognized and functions as well as I know to expect with this build. It works with both finger and stylus. I didn't get more specialized features working, such as the eraser doing erasing, or stylus pressure and angle having a discernible effect. `xinput test` seems to know about these things, however, as values change as pressure and angle change. I will verify application configuration and check other involved components, but want to observe for posterity the kernel appears to be recognizing all the properties of this device. Thanks much for testing. There are some other changes that the patches depend on that are in 3.13. We'll add the patches to rawhide today, and F20 should pick up the support when it rebases to the 3.13 kernel. That shouldn't be more than a couple weeks. Thanks guys. I also got one for the XYL. I'll upgrade her to 20 (currently her laptop is at 19) and then wait for the kernel step. This looks like a pretty decent tablet, and it is cheap and available, so I suspect it will become popular. *********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 20 kernel bugs. Fedora 20 has now been rebased to 3.13.4-200.fc20. Please test this kernel update and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel. If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those. This should be fixed already. |
