Description of problem:

I just pushed my app http://mike-tampa.rhcloud.com/

And I get an error when viewing the URL, 

503 - Service Temporarily Unavailable

Is this the first time you've tried to run the app in openshift?  If so, are you sure that you are binding to the correct IP / port combination (given by the $OPENSHIFT_NODEJS_IP and $OPENSHIFT_NODEJS_PORT environment variables)?  I ask because I can see processes running in your gear, but I do not see any ports bound.
