Description Alick Zhao 2013-12-28 09:05:12 UTC
Description of problem:
On my T430 laptop, with the recently updated kernel (3.12.5), the system fails to suspend after closing the lid. It works fine with previou kernel (3.11.10)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-3.12.5-200.fc19.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always so far.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot Fedora 19 with kernel 3.12.5
2. After logining in the desktop shell, try close the laptop lid to suspend.

Actual results:
In my last few trials, the system fails to suspend (even after 1 minute or so). When I open the lid again, the display sometimes become blank, but sometimes not changed at all. In both cases, there is no response to keyboard and mouse event.
All I can do is to power-reset the machine.

Expected results:
It should go to suspend state as expected.

Additional info:
Executing `systemctl suspend` in the command line works fine. Just lid close to suspend doesn't work.

After updating to Fedora 20 with kernel 3.12.6, it works again.
