The update to bluefish-2.2.5 includes a large number of bug fixes, and might well address the issue that caused your crash. If you still have problems with the new version, please feel free to update this ticket or raise a new one.

* was pushed to the Fedora 20 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
