Description Rahul Sundaram 2013-12-31 21:03:08 UTC
Description of problem:

SystemMaxUse=1G works but SystemMaxUse=1.0G is silently ignore

I would suggest the following improvements

1) Better document that only integers values are accepted
2) Might be convenient to extend it to support non integer values, say 1.0G or 1.5G should be acceptable
3) If unaccepted values are used, please log that as a warning when restarting the service

Comment 1 Chris Murphy 2013-12-31 21:23:19 UTC
Agreed. Or warn and also drop anything after decimal, still honoring the unit.

Comment 2 Adam Williamson 2014-02-27 07:32:40 UTC
Well, that was a spectacularly useless summary.
