Description of problem:
=======================
Not sure if mate-session-manager is the right component. Anyway with the current f19 mate (see "Additional info:" for versions of the other mate components) the thumbnails are deleted at every logoff, ignoring the settings in dconf (180days/512MB).

1. Generate some thumbnails
2. Verify that they appear in /$HOME/.cache/thumbnails/normal

Thanks for reporting,
i can reproduce the issue with f19 but not with f20/rawhide.
So it's a bit weird.
Reasigning to mate-desktop, gsettings key comes from mate-desktop.

mate-settings-daemon-1.6.2-2.fc19 has been pushed to the Fedora 19 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
