Description of problem:
I clicked on a desktop Icon. I can not add screenshot because all icons on my desktop have disappeared. It is possible that the icon was an enlightenment thingy, but I do not know.

The thing I clicked on was |sdg_1.desktop a pointer to
.e/e/fileman/favorites/\|sdg_1.desktop
which contained
"[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Type=Link
X-Enlightenment-Type=Removable
X-Enlightenment-Removable-State=Full
Name=MULTISYSTEM
Icon=drive-removable-media
Comment=Removable Device
URL=file://org/freedesktop/UDisks/devices/sdg1"
which was left behind from a previously crashed Enlightenment
and the problem was I suspect that I no longer had a
/dev/sdg1
