Description of problem:

With the latest changes to netty package - upgrade from version 3 to 4 in Rawhide, avro package doesn't build and needs to be adjusted to use the version 4.

If you encounter issues with upgrading the package to use netty version 4 or you think it does involve too much effort - please let me know and we'll think about a netty 3 compat package.

I was looking at a patch, but it seems it's a lot of effort to make it happen. I'll introduce a netty3 compat package for Rawhide.
