I just read this review and downloaded. I believe this application is much
better than xawtv and will expand Linux's multimedia capablities.

it's too late now to add tvtime to Fedora, because the strings are frozen ATM.
But in any case i will add it in next release.

# cat /etc/fedora-release
Fedora Core release 1.90 (FC2 Test 1)

# rpm -q tvtime
tvtime-0.9.12-2

because xawtv was removed from fc2t1 i can not directly compare

source composite1 - digital-sat-receiver
a few horizontal black lines are flickering on the right-top-side
it is a bit slow (staccato ?)
playing with the setting (eg, framerate,...) brings no full success

seems to be a good replacement for xawtv,
