Description movciari 2014-01-15 14:30:23 UTC
Description of problem:
if you already have qemu-img-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.407 (and possibly some older releases), hosted-engine deployment from disk fails

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
is32.1

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install qemu-img-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.407 (not newer)
2. install ovirt-hosted-engine-setup
3. try to deploy hosted-engine, choose disk as installation media

Actual results:
it will fail with error "/usr/bin/sudo failed to execute" because qemu-img didn't recognize parameters for action 'info' correctly

Expected results:
you should be able to deploy using disk as installation media

Additional info:
qemu-img-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.415 works

Fixed in is32.2, same bug as 1052233. if you install hosted-engine now and it doesn't update your qemu-img-rhev it must be a yum bug.
